LET'S WALK TOGETHER

MEET LORI
Hi, I’m Lori. I 'm genuinely curious about your story. How I can support you creating more authentic connections to yourself and others that feel more fulfilling in your life? Research shows that meaningful relationships are essential to our well-being and longevity. We are made to thrive in connection with others, yet during stressful seasons of life, those connections can begin to feel strained or out of balance. I understand this not only through my professional work, but through my own lived experience of balancing work, parenting, friendships, family, and the ongoing need for self-care. I know how overwhelming it can feel when unhealthy patterns repeat and support feels out of reach. I also know how healing it is to be truly seen, heard, and understood by a compassionate professional. My goal is to offer a safe, supportive space where you feel understood and empowered to reconnect—with yourself and with the people who matter most.
At times, it may feel like there's a shortage of vulnerability and human connection in our world needed for personal growth. The pressure of cultural norms can be suffocating, leading us to doubt ourselves. Reaching for support may feel like failure in a culture that fosters extreme self-reliance. It’s not failure, it’s brave. Humans were meant to journey through life in tandem, not alone.
Together we can work at your pace toward the change you want in your life.
Outside of work, I enjoy being outdoors, particularly hiking to waterfalls and spending time on the water. I love of live music, a good cup of coffee with a book, a scenic car ride with the windows down, and spending time with family and friends.

APPROACH
As a therapist, I work from a person-centered approach that emphasizes building trust, understanding the systems you interact with and the attachment models that shape your relationships. Considering your story, I draw from several interventions based on the issues you want to explore. Some of those evidence-based approaches are CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy), EFT (Emotion Focused Therapy), IFS (Internal Family Systems), Solution Focused Therapy and Narrative Therapy. Whether you're looking to address specific challenges or deepen your self-awareness, I create a supportive space where we can work together to find meaningful solutions.
